Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father who plays hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. The 12 WTA singles wins include one Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is another area where she is a pro. In the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021, US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both taken by Elise Mertens. With the Belgian tennis star, she won her the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in 2019, thus completing the Sunshine Double. This feat was made possible by four couples in female doubles. The Belarusian rose from second place to third place in the singles world rankings on 23 August 2021. Her best ranking was also achieved in the month of January 2023. That same year she took home the title at Melbourne in the following year, and then was ranked number one on the planet for doubles. Her coach was the former Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the close of the 2019 season, and partially at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was briefly with her from August to September 2020. Antonio Dubrov has been her coach since the year 2020. Her idols are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
